• Lead the Indirect Material Purchase team to ensure all user enquiry and Purchase Requisition handle on timely manner.
• Review the indirect materials sourcing and quotation comparison prepare by Officer and Junior Executive.
• Handle for Service and Tender Contract related matters.
• Interact & negotiate with suppliers in order to receive the best bargain and best value for company.
• Ensure Officer and Junior Executive compliance strictly to the Procurement Policy.
• Handle for the enquiry from internal and external auditor
• Review Open PR and Open PO report on half monthly basic and prepare summary report to Assistant Manager/Manager
• To establish policies, standard of procedures for indirect material purchase activities and to seek management approval.
• Proactively looking on minimizing the purchase price and cost saving.
• Continues make improvement and lean the indirect material purchasing process and close the gap if any.
• Attending all meetings pertaining to purchasing if superior not available
• Closely monitor KPI for RFQ and KPI for PR conversion to PO lead time set to IDM Officer and Executive.
• Lead and provide couching to Executive level.
• Require strong attention to details, proven and confident decision making with excellent communication skills
• High integrity and responsive to the task assigned from superior.
• To undertake any other projects, tasks and duties as assigned by superiors from time to time

Job Requirement

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Management or equivalent
• Possess valid driving license
• Possess working experience in automotive industry will be an added advantage.
• At least five (5) years of working experience in purchasing or procurement
• Required skill(s): SAP System, Microsoft Office, Presentation Skills, able to perform data analysis, negotiation skills, good communication skills, analytical skills, problem solving and leading the team

Job Type: Full-time Pay: RM4,200.00 - RM4,800.00 per month Benefits:
