Job Description

Position: QA Engineer

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

3-6 years of QA experience with both manual and automated testing

Proficient in writing and executing test cases for web/mobile applications Hands-on experience with Postman for REST API testing Solid experience with Katalon Studio for automation Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and Git-based repositories Strong documentation and defect reporting skills Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

Responsibilities

Design and execute manual test cases based on user stories and business flows Conduct thorough API testing using Postman, including positive and negative scenarios Build, maintain, and execute automated test scripts in Katalon Studio Log reproducible and clearly detailed defects in the tracking system Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to verify fixes Prepare test data and ensure environment readiness Support UAT and production readiness verification Participate in sprint ceremonies and contribute to QA planning

Key Accountabilities

Manual functional and exploratory testing - 40% API testing using Postman - 20% Automation testing using Katalon Studio - 20% Defect reporting, tracking, and validation - 10% Collaboration with developers and stakeholders - 10%
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Up to RM9,100.00 per month
