Job Description


As a QA Manager, he/she able to strategize, develop, communicate, and maintain In-Sprint Testing / UAT test plan and perform In Sprint Testing / User Acceptance Testing in accordance with approved test plans and research unexpected result. Lead and design the team\'s approach to testing on all levels of the testing. Track & analyses test results, take corrective action and update statuses. Ensure alignment of the testing scope to all requirements and review all test plans, test scenarios, test reports and provide completeness sign-off. Work closely with Product Owners and PMO and provide confidence in test planning effort and deliverables to enable Product Owners/PMO to provide sign off on the deliverables. Provide regular update/report to the Program through progress dashboarding. Manage the test execution plan and defect management processes across integration testing and acceptance test. Escalate the impacts on quality and scheduling for any major issues or defects during testing cycles to stakeholders and provide test execution options to mitigate any additional delays. Provide guidance and supervision to the Test leads and act as an escalation point for the QA Engineers / SDET in the development squad. Educate and help the Product owners/PMO define quality parameters and acceptance criteria for project delivery. Monitor and Control defect activities, resource deployment and Project request. Managing both onsite and remote/offshore team members. Test data creation and management At Squad / Program level Design feature level test data requirements and orchestrate test data implementation based on high level design guidance. Work towards making this task effortlessly pre-emptive and routine. Define and refine testing methodologies and test architecture. Manage execution and reporting of test cases during software development sprint, and as much as possible dashboard the results to avoid manual compilation. Leverage on collaborative tools (i.e. Jira, Confluence) to minimize manual records. Bring to order the test and QA governance in Sprint Testing to ensure predictable test execution prior to release to User Testing Oversee QA Engineer / SDET at squad level to ensure quality deliverables. Evangelize best practice in testing in Scrum as Chapter Member Evolve QA Engineering best practices in RHB / Digital Technology & Engineering and promote automation/reduction of manual processes in SDLC. Mentor and teach junior QA Engineers / SDET. Update experience and learnings on Confluence for sustainable knowledge sharing. Requirements: Malaysia Citizen Only Bachelor Degree - Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or relevant engineering domains. Essential (Required to start) >5 years of experience in Software Engineering, Software Development Testing or similar role Experience in managing team members and stakeholders in software testing / QA. Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery. Familiarity with popular test automation tools and frameworks like Selenium Good in strategic and tactical thinking/decision making execution Ability to switch easily between different projects and flexibility to handle a rapidly changing environment Tools: Jira, Confluence, Power BI, Excel, Software Metrics Specific (Expectations to grow) Experience in BDD and TDD Domain knowledge in Technology, Risks and Compliance in the Banking Industry Solid experience working in a Scrum Team Experience with cloud platforms is an advantage Understanding and Experience of working in an agile, fast-paced environment
