Job Description

• Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in software testing, including manual and automated testing.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., IT).
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.

ResponsibilitiesTest Planning and Execution:

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
• Execute manual and automated tests to identify bugs, performance issues, and inconsistencies.
• Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not impacted by new changes.

Defect Management:

• Identify, document, and track defects using issue-tracking tools.
• Collaborate with the development team to prioritize and resolve defects.
• Retest resolved issues to ensure they are fully fixed.

Test Automation:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, JUnit, or other relevant frameworks.
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous testing.
• Analyze test results and generate reports to provide insights into the quality of the product.

Quality Assurance:

• Ensure that software meets or exceeds defined quality standards.
• Conduct exploratory testing to uncover potential issues not covered by test cases.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on potential quality issues.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of test cases, test results, and defect logs.
• Provide regular status updates and test reports to stakeholders.
• Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and best practices.
