Position : QA Specialist

Salary : RM 2,500 - RM 5,000

Location : Damansara Uptown

Working Days / Time : 8.30am - 5.30pm

Developing and executing comprehensive test strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement in QA processes

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts to ensure full test coverage based on product requirements. Conduct functional, regression, performance, and system integration testing. Track, document, and manage defects using tools like

JIRA

. Perform manual testing and advocate for critical bug resolution with the development team. (Preferred) Automate repetitive test cases using automation tools or AI-based frameworks. Manage test data and environments that closely simulate production systems. Analyze test results and share insights for quality improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and improve QA processes. Stay up to date with QA trends, tools, and best practices. Assist in fostering a strong quality-driven culture within the team. Perform other QA-related or ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Minimum

2 years of QA/testing experience

(Fresh graduates with passion for QA are welcome). Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing processes, and best practices. Experience with tools like

Postman

,

JMeter

, or

LoadRunner

is preferred. Familiarity with

API testing

,

database testing

, and

automation

is an advantage. Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and analytical thinking. Able to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work both independently and in a team. Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
