JOB DESCRIPTION - QA/QC TECHNICIAN

Monitor Production processing via first piece/last piece & hourly Inspection Buy off Activity by updating and maintainining reports or controlled documents Monitor SPC by collecting and analyzing data about the process, checking for unexpected variations in the data and correcting any issues Assist QA Engineers by preparing technical reports as required. Handle quality issue happened in QA/QC Inspection Activity, implement containment action, investigate the root cause, follow up corrective actions and response to related QA Engineer/QA Executiveor QA Manager Monitor critical control points in QC processes and to resolve all quality issues or irregular problem feedback by QA/QC Leader or Inspectors. Ensure that the quality control measurement equipment including jigs are calibrated at the point of use during the QA/QC Inspection. Keep accurate, complete, and legible records where it is properly amend, identifed and filed. Conduct timely root cause analysis and enforce improvements to process controls Identify non-conformances in quality or practices and take or recommend appropriate corrective action within scope of knowledge and to perform actions to resolve issues and implement corrective measures. Resolve problems in conjunction with plant managers, production and engineering personnel and conduct timely root cause analysis and enforce improvements to process controls. This includes conducting statistical analysis on select processes and report findings Participate in the NC disposition for non-conforming product and making proper transfers out to non-confirming disposition areas. Support on the customer Returns (RMA) upon receipt at the related Q-Gates and perform a pre-limanary verification Minimum SPM or equivalent. Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment would be useful but not essential, as full training would be provided. Must be a team player and respectful of co-workers Dependable, reliable, punctual, and self-motivated Must be able to work over-time (if required) Keen attention to detail Self-motivated, fast learner, dynamic and good attendance. Basic knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office applications and use of computers
