Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented

Entry-Level QA Tester

to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the technology team to test software applications and ensure they meet quality standards. This position is ideal for fresh graduates or individuals new to software testing, with training and mentorship provided to help you grow your skills in quality assurance.

Job Responsibilities

Execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality and quality. Perform various types of testing including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools. Collaborate closely with the technology team, developers, and product managers to resolve issues. Assist in preparing test data and setting up testing environments. Review product requirements and specifications for clarity and testability. Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on project progress and quality concerns. Provide suggestions to improve testing processes and product quality.

Job Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; internship or project experience in software testing is a plus. Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies. Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) is an advantage. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented with good observational skills to detect errors or inconsistencies. Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Eagerness to learn new tools, technologies, and testing techniques.

Pay: RM3,200.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
