1. Make sure that all safety procedures are followed according to federal regulations and company policies, including wearing protective equipment such as gloves, goggles, and masks and maintain a clean and orderly environment. 2. Perform routine tasks such as cleaning workstations, changing solutions in beakers or flasks, and sterilizing equipment. 3. Record data from experiments or tests, including temperatures, concentrations of chemicals, and other measurements. 4. Maintain inventory of chemicals and supplies needed for experiments and testing. 5. Assist with the design of experiments in planning for the research projects and setting up laboratory equipment. 6. Receive, label and analyse samples. 7. Design and execute laboratory testing according standard procedures, make observations and interpret findings. 8. Conduct experiments under defined conditions to verify/reject various types of hypotheses using refined scientific methods. 9. Organize and store all chemicals substances, fluids and compressed gases according to safety instructions. 10. Maintain equipment and assist in ordering laboratory supplies. 11. Communicate with other members of the research team regarding experiments or test results. 12. Any other duties may be assigned by the management, from time to time either verbally or in written instruction.
