Job Description

Develop project target costs based on feasibilities studies and schematic design. Responsible for reviewing pre-tender estimate, schedule of price or BQ, design, contract, etc. Coordinate with on-site project management, evaluate progress payments, assessing variation orders, etc. Responsible for dynamic cost management throughout the project lifecycle, final account settlement, and reporting. Prepare project cost management summaries and setup cost index. In-depth understanding of the company\'s technical cost index and based on the project executed, propose reasonable cost value engineering. Understand the research achievements of data center technology, analyse their impact on data center construction costs, and update the company cost index. Pre-requisitions Degree in MEP Quantity Surveying / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering with minimum 10 years of experience with related MEP Quantity Surveying environment. Preferably experience in providing cost management services for Data Centres; Strong analytical, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with others in an integrated team environment. Good knowledge on cost management experience in data center projects or large commercial real estate projects in ASEAN, Hong Kong will be an advantage. Strong communication and coordination skills, with a preference for experience in handling large consulting projects in a professional cost consultancy firm will be an advantage Honest and trustworthy individual with a strong sense of professional ethics and team spirit. Able to communicate fluently in Malaysia, English and Chinese (Cantonese and Japanese will be advantage but not essential)
