To implement all policies, activities, procedures, and instructions as relevant and required by the management.
To comply with client and applicable legal and other requirements.
To implement plan actions from risks and opportunities assessment.
To take responsibility for the prevention of work-related injury and ill health.
To forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project.
To track design or construction work changes and adjust budget projections accordingly.
To produce or agree with the services of contractors and subcontractors who work on the project\'s construction, measure and value the work done on-site.
To liaise with the client and other construction professionals, such as Site Managers, Project Managers and Site Engineers.
To select or source construction materials.
To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as instructed by the superior.
To do other QS duties as and when assigned by superior such as Marketing.
Job Requirements:
Degree/Diploma in quantity surveying or related field.
At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar capacity.
Experience in pre-qualification exercises, tender bids and preparing quotations.
Able to take-off quantities and prepare cost estimates and budgets.
Must have basic knowledge of contractual matters.
Good interpersonal skills.
Computer literate.
