Ensure processes for PS MY are carried out in alignment to the various Global Process Standards, Operational Risk Framework and Regulatory requirements
Review and monitor departmental processes relating to PSMY to ensure business adherence to processes and procedures
Ensure proper functioning of Process Universe Key Controls through process validation exercises, periodic monitoring activities, and timely identification and resolution of process and control failure.
Promote a strong operational risk management and sales compliance culture.
Strategy*
Identify potential process streamline and reduce hands off in processes to prevent control failures and mitigate operational risk. Perform monthly clean desk checks and take on the role as a departmental information security champion to champion causes to prevent potential data leakage incidents in PS MY.
Business*
Meeting datelines as team player including timely reporting and relevant communication. Perform monthly call monitoring review of verbal closure cases as per the guidelines set in the GPS and RBORF.
Processes*
Participate in process review exercises to review and monitor Department Operation Instructions (DOI) and Standard Work Instruction (SWI) owned by the channels against the current Global Process Standards (GPS), Operational Risk Framework (ORF), Master Process Document (MPD), MAS regulations and local regulations where applicable. Ensure processes are functioning as per document and ensure segregation of duties, maker-checker requirements, department independencies, key control requirements are adhered to
People & Talent*
Conduct coaching related to CEPG space, covering process changes, governance frameworks and client experience issues
Risk Management*
Facilitate, embed, deploy and execute key control standards (KCS), control sample testing (CST) Health checks (HC) within business unit. Identify new, thematic and developing process risks and failures; provide operational risk advice through Operational risk Framework to the various stakeholders in consultation with the BORM and country Senior Operational Risk Officer (SORO) team.
Governance*
Report process abnormalities and non adherence to the Business Operational Risk Manager (BORM), and engage appropriate stakeholders on timely remedial actions. Escalate key risk situations that pose significant risk.
