Position Title: R2R Specialist (Thai B.U)

Location: The Gardens South Tower, Mid Valley City, Lingkaran Syed Putra, 59200 Kuala Lumpur.

Working hours: 8.30AM - 5.30PM / 9AM - 6PM, Monday - Friday.

The role: R2R Specialist is accountable for ensuring the delivery of compliant management and statutory accounts on time and in full for all entities of the cluster. Accountable for the delivery of all financial reporting are submitted on time and in full (management and statutory). Providing all accounting information necessary for local regulations (i.e. tax and legal requirement) and supports GL & Reporting team lead to develop strong competencies to ensure excellence in execution and service level. Must possess local PR & understands Thai to communicate with Malaysian & Thai Market.

Main Responsibilities:

• Deliver the General Accounting/reporting activities performed in their cluster are compliant with the Group core model and with the local rules
• Assist team lead to execute the closing options validated by the FBS Finance Director
• Deliver the management and statutory accounts of all CBUs on time, and fully compliant with the group rules or local GAAP.
• Ensure that the monthly reporting and bi-annual consolidation packages are reviewed and validated by the CBS and CBU Finance Directors before submission
• Provide all necessary support to the GL & Reporting team lead to ensure that all reported financial information is correct
• Perform integrity checks of interfaces fueling the accounting system, and follow up resolution of issues
• Perform local GAAP watch for in charge CBU
• Perform effective internal control system in the accounting and closing process in place

Key Deliverables:

• Accounts compliance and financial policies enforcement
• Timeliness and quality of the monthly GL and Reporting closing process
• Execute efficiency through process/systems continuous improvement tasked by manager

Key Metrics:

• Closing all CBUs on time
• Compliance with accounting rules
• Service level defined in the SLA
• Level of internal control deficiencies

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE:

• Education: Bachelor Degree, majoring in Accounting, Finance or Business
• Experience (in years): At least 2-4 years in accounting or reporting related function for multi-national companies
• Good command in both speaking and written in Thai & English
• Possess local Malaysian PR to communicate with local & Thai Market.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially at Excel, Word & PowerPoint etc.
