\xe2\x80\xa2 Must be fully committed to working safely and to accepting responsibility for the safety of fellow crew members. \xe2\x80\xa2 Must be fully committed to prevent damage to the environment and shall work in accordance with client\xe2\x80\x99s HSE Policy and Procedures. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure fully understands the STOP system and fully participates in this system. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist Supervisor in identifying jobs which may require a risk assessment. \xe2\x80\xa2 Participate along with supervisor in risk assessments. \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain a radio watch and monitor traffic on all communication systems installed in the Radio Room. \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain Radio Room log books required by current regulations, company and client. \xe2\x80\xa2 Observe statutory regulations. \xe2\x80\xa2 Isolation of radio equipment during periods of radio silence. \xe2\x80\xa2 Advised OIM of any emergency situations in vicinity of rig. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist HLO when required, including associated administration duties necessary for helicopter operations. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure that the communications equipment is maintained in a proper manner (including equipment in lifeboats). \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain the unit POB documentation and computer records. \xe2\x80\xa2 Familiar with emergency communications and procedures. \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain a log of hours worked by personnel on the unit. \xe2\x80\xa2 General clerical and filing work.: maintains confidentiality of communication and records of telefaxes and telexes. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist with helicopter manifests. \xe2\x80\xa2 Forward mail to head office and distribute mail received on unit. \xe2\x80\xa2 Comply with Permit to Work System. \xe2\x80\xa2 To participate in the client\xe2\x80\x99s Competence Assurance Scheme. \xe2\x80\xa2 Must be able to relate to other people beyond giving and receiving instructions; get along with co-workers or peers without exhibiting behavioural extremes; perform work activities requiring negotiating, instructing, supervising, persuading or speaking with others; and respond appropriately to criticism from a supervisor. \xe2\x80\xa2 From time-to-time your immediate supervisor or his supervisor may request your assistance and assign you to do other general duties onboard the drilling rig.

In addition to that, and with the backup and support of our clients, other development programs like OJT (On the Job Training) have been established a a means, for those with the interest and the potential, to enhance their progress to higher and more skillful positions on the deck to the benefit of themselves, and that of the Company and the Client. As a result, Bayongs Mission and Primary Goal, is to not only become the preferred choice in the provision Offshore Manpower by supplying the Right Man for the job, but also to take the lead in its provision of Catering and Janitorial Services in South East Asia.
