TanggungjawabRADIOGRAPHER1. Performing Diagnostic Imaging Procedures:

• Operate imaging equipment : X-ray and Ultrasound
• Ensure the correct positioning of patients to obtain accurate and clear images.

2. Patient Preparation and Care:

• Explain procedures to patients, addressing any concerns or questions.
• Assist patients in positioning for imaging, ensuring their comfort and safety.

3. Image Analysis and Quality Control:

• Review images to ensure they are of high quality and meet diagnostic standards.
• Identify any potential issues with image clarity and retake images if necessary.

4. Radiation Safety:

• Adhere to radiation safety protocols to protect patients, themselves, and other healthcare workers from excessive exposure.
• Use protective equipment and devices, such as lead aprons and shields.

5. Equipment Maintenance:

• Regularly inspect, calibrate, and maintain imaging equipment to ensure IT functions correctly.
• Report any malfunctions or issues with the equipment to the appropriate personnel.

6. Documentation and Record Keeping:

• Maintain accurate patient records, including details of procedures performed and images obtained.
• Ensure proper documentation of patient history and any specific instructions from physicians.

SONOGRAPHER1. Performing Ultrasound Examinations:

• Conduct diagnostic ultrasound procedures to create images of internal organs, blood flow, tissues, and fetuses.
• Able to perform basic ultrasound examination such as Obstetric and Gynaecology scan, Abdominal scan, Hepatobilliary Scan, KUB Scan, Muskuloskeletal Scan or Other general scan

2. Patient Preparation:

• Explain the ultrasound procedure to patients, including the purpose and what to expect.
• Position patients correctly to obtain the best possible images, ensuring their comfort and safety

3. Image Analysis and Quality Control:

• Assess ultrasound images for quality, ensuring that they meet diagnostic standards.
• Identify normal and abnormal findings during the examination.
• Determine if additional images or further testing is required.

4. Patient Care and Interaction:

• Provide empathetic care, particularly in sensitive situations such as obstetric scans or when dealing with patients in distress.
• Monitor patients during procedures to ensure their well-being.
• Answer patient questions and provide reassurance throughout the examination process.

5. Adherence to Safety Protocols:

• Follow all safety guidelines to protect patients and themselves from unnecessary exposure to ultrasound energy.
• Adhere to infection control procedures, including sterilization of equipment.
