About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented

R&D Assistant

to support our Research & Development team in product development, sampling, testing, and documentation. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and able to handle hands-on tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Own transport is required

due to travel needs between suppliers, labs, or production sites.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in developing and testing new products from concept to final sample. Conduct research on materials, ingredients, packaging, or components Prepare and manage samples, prototypes, and test materials. Maintain detailed records, test results, and documentation for R&D projects. Coordinate with suppliers, production teams, and quality control. Perform product evaluations, quality checks, and troubleshooting. Support in sourcing new materials and conducting market/competitor research. Travel to suppliers, factories, or testing facilities as required.

Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Science, Product Development, Engineering, or related field Strong interest in R&D, product innovation, and testing. Detail-oriented with good analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Must have own transport

and be willing to travel for work purposes.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
