POSITION : R&D CUM HALAL EXECUTIVE (FOOD PRODUCTS) LOCATION : CARJEN FOOD SDN BHD, TAMAN TEKNOLOGI CHENG, MELAKA WORKING HOUR : MONDAY \xe2\x80\x93 FRIDAY (8:00 A.M \xe2\x80\x93 4:30 P.M) \xe2\x80\x93 SATURDAY (ALTERNATE) BASIC SALARY : RM 2,300.00 \xe2\x80\x93 RM 3,100.00 Key Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Responsible for developing new products and improving existing products \xc2\xb7 Collaborate with the operations teams to determine and establish new projects, products, processes, and plans. Monitor the progresses following the agreed targets \xc2\xb7 Constantly up to date on the food regulatory information, innovation ingredients & process knowledge to establish system and standard of procedures \xc2\xb7 Understand and work with Regulatory and Quality compliance department regarding compliance of quality system requirements, other regulatory standards, and safety & health and assisting in ISO and HACCP audit. \xc2\xb7 Observe sensory evaluation and efficacy of the developed products \xc2\xb7 Establish and maintain all test reports & records \xc2\xb7 Submission of assessment of ingredients & costing \xc2\xb7 Performs other related duties/ tasks as assigned by superior/ management \xc2\xb7 To liaise with external approved supplier for new material sourcing and testing. \xc2\xb7 Involve in new product project which include formulation finalization, sensory evaluation, shelf life determination, process set up & packaging design. \xc2\xb7 To manage all R&D documentation based on food safety standard requirement \xc2\xb7 To take charge and improve or otherwise on matters related quality of raw materials, \xc2\xb7 Full responsible regarding Halal matters. Liaise with JAIM, Arrange IHC (Internal Halal audit and meeting, etc. \xc2\xb7 Conduct trainings for Halal Awareness \xc2\xb7 Continuous improvement on overall Halal Assurance System. Requirements: \xc2\xb7 Must possess at least a Diploma/ Degree in Food Technology or other related disciplines \xc2\xb7 Must Certified competent as Halal Executive By JAKIM \xc2\xb7 Minimum 3 years of work experience in the related field \xc2\xb7 Knowledgeable of food technology, food microbiology, and nutritional ingredients formulations \xc2\xb7 Understand compliance for food safety standards such as GMP, HACCP, and HALAL \xc2\xb7 Computer literate with good command of both written and spoken English and Malay \xc2\xb7 Confident, proactive, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: RM2,300.00 - RM3,100.00 per month Benefits:
