• Provide a wide range of solutions for IP operations and research activities through proven software development methodology
• Serve as technical lead by planning and executing strategic road maps and driving technical excellence in IP digitalization and automation initiatives.
• Design and maintain IP data mart to provide centralized IP data from disparate data sources. Data can be in both structured and unstructured form
• Drive IP operations efficiency by automating IP processes and tools
• Provide BI solutions to enable self-service reports and reports publishing for seamless delivery to web-based dashboard portal
• Ensure data availability through ETL operations and high performance data pipeline to generate timely, critical and decision-ready research reports
• Keep pace on state-of-the-art technology that leverages software capabilities to perform automation and machine intelligence
• Work closely with IP Engineers and Subject Matter Experts to understand business requirements and transform the requirements into automated system and web applications
• Responsible in all aspects within the software development life cycle including requirements gathering, documentation, software development and testing

Job Qualifications

• Understanding of Data Analytics, information and operations research
• Strong technical knowledge in Object Oriented Programming using C# and .NET Core
• Experience in web development using

Core, HTML, CSS and JavaScript * Highly proficient in database management and SQL

• Familiar with source control, continuous integration and deployment tools such as TFVC, Git, MSBuild, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket or Jenkins
• Experience in managing Windows-based servers and IIS
• Knowledge on data wrangling and data analytics using Python would be an advantage.
• Exposure to Machine Learning and AI is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Power BI and Power Query.
• An intermediate knowledge of patents, the patenting process, and previous experience with patent searching tools and techniques is preferred, though not required
• Work experience in T&M industry is not essential, but would be an advantage
• Bachelors/Masters/PhD degree in Engineering or Computer Science
