Job Description

Key responsibilities are as follows:

  • Scheduling the activities for logistic team to ensure smooth process for deliveries, and movement of materials, furniture, plant and equipment around site efficiently as required by the facilities team workstreams.
  • Responsibility for communication with Events Manager and planning the logistics of Events on site including loading and unloading of equipment, porterage of items around the building and event room physical set up / take down as needed.
  • Work in line with CBRE Health & Safety policy, ensuring that safe systems of work are always adopted whilst creating a safe working environment for our customers and colleagues alike.
  • Responsibility for the communication with landlord FM team to manage slots in the loading bay for deliveries. Responsible for the schedule of FM deliveries and to be present in the loading bay to receive goods and transport them to the correct place in the building.
  • Manage the FM storage area in the carpark and ensure goods are moved to correct location in the building.
  • Organising repair/replacement following breakdowns of equipment used by FM team.
  • Building and sustaining effective relationships within the customer organisation. Gaining understanding of customer logistic requirements and location of customers within the building.
  • Ensure compliance with all processes and procedures, statutory requirements & engineering standards.
  • Support sustainability through clear and concise management on site of all waste movements and supporting with recycling initiatives.
  • Manage the waste service providers and look to improve on service delivery. Adhering to waste regulations where necessary and filing of auditable documents such as waste transfer notes for hazardous waste types.
  • The effective management of consumable stock, tools, and equipment.
  • Support the FM Management team with organising support with duties consistent with the general requirements of our services delivery.
  • Provide support as a technician to carry out inspection, respond to work orders/ breakdown and provide timely update on the work order completion
  • Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
  • Basic knowledge of work order management system (CMMS)
  • Good at Manage work order workflow and operation
  • Excellent motivational and influencing skills, with high levels or personal integrity.
  • Organized, able to prioritize and deliver within high-pressure, business-critical environments.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to seek out opportunities for continuous improvement and portray vision, values and passion.
