Knowledge and understanding of purchasing requirements related to receiving including the loading and unloading process, handling food products and related storage requirements, criteria related to acceptable conditions of products such as temperature and physical appearance etc.
Knowledge and understanding of the hazards, risks, significant environmental aspects and legal requirements associated with their work activities, and the required controls.
Knowledge and understanding of inventory and material management and ability to provide solutions, including, FIFO/LIFO, logistics and storage management (issuance, protection and storage) specifically related to food and beverage items.

Responsibilities

Responsible for performing daily activities related to ordering, receiving, storage and issuance of delivered products including cleanliness and sanitation of the receiving area
Unloading and inspection of delivered products against determined acceptance criteria
