The Cross Border Team is split into 3 main teams, Commercial, Logistics and Business Operations. This role lies within the Business operations Vertical in the Cross Border team. Business Operations focuses on budget items below direct costs, including operating expense, central costs and EBIT.

The role exists with the main objective of providing financial visibility and analysis of the business unit\'s performance along with setting up new finance flows with regards to new commercial products. The Finance Operations Associate is expected to work with various stakeholders from local finance to Strat Finance and Regional FP&A to ensure that Revenues and Costs are accurately recorded in the Business Unit\'s Profit and Loss Statements, in accordance with Financial Reporting Standards. You would also work with the operation, commercial and local finance teams with regards to alignment of new finance flows across the different countries. Separately, you would be assisting with finance operation improvement to streamline existing processes, preparation of month end billing files and ensure that shippers\' disputes are resolved and AR is collected timely.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the structuring of intercompany finance and billing flows for crossborder related deals
• Standardization and categorization of existing billing flows
• Involved with improvement of existing finance flow
• Monthly reporting and analysis of the financial position of the business unit
• Provide commentary and analysis to Strategy Finance for monthly XB PL meetings and Monthly Investor Reports
• Ensure timely collections of aged receivables
• Responsible for adherence to timely COD remittance schedules and COD to offset processes by local finance
• Preparation of month end billing for cross border related revenue billing
• Close collaboration with local finance team on cross border related invoices
• Timely and accurate preparation of customer billings

Requirement

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Accountancy or Finance or a related discipline with 3 years of relevant work experience in finance flows
• Detail oriented and able to work independently
• Experience in executing complex multi-stakeholder commercial projects
• Strong Working knowledge of MS Word, Powerpoint, Excel
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin
