Job Description

Job scope:-

\xc2\xb7 Promoting the growth of Maccaferri Rockfall products & solutions within the geographical area through product development, technical design and promotional activities.

\xc2\xb7 Geographical area: Southeast Asia countries.

Responsibilities :-

1. Technical Management

\xc2\xb7 Acts as a focal point and gives guidelines and design criteria for specialized sector in Rockfall.

\xc2\xb7 Acts as interface towards the manufacturing and industrial departments, for production compliance, quality issues, specifications related to the specialized product.

\xc2\xb7 Provides technical support to the technical structures in subsidiaries, distributors and to the commercial structures in general. Prepare calculations reports and technical description/ specification.

\xc2\xb7 Liaise with corporate Rockfall BU and cascade the information to the market of competence.

2. Product Business Development

\xc2\xb7 Support business development strategy according to organizational objectives within the geographical area.

\xc2\xb7 Responsible for economic/ financial results of the assigned geographic area, coordinating with the local sales structures (subsidiaries, distributors, agents).

\xc2\xb7 Responsible for the specialized product\'s portfolio, including promotional activities, supporting the local structures.

3. Promotional and First Sales Management

\xc2\xb7 Provide the support to the sales activity, in coordination with Sales force, ensuring that the best solution on technical aspect is proposed to the customer. This includes activities to enhance the awareness of Maccaferri rockfall solution in technical environment, universities, magazines, etc, known as First Sales activities.

4. Client Support

\xc2\xb7 Provide site assistance including pre-design and post installation or any other support to client, contractor, distributor, as and when required and necessary.

Requirement: -

\xc2\xb7 Possess strong knowledge in Rockfall products and its applications.

\xc2\xb7 Strong technical know-how in this specialized product.

\xc2\xb7 Broad commercial experience in local, and preferably in SEA markets as well.

\xc2\xb7 Possess good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia and optionally Mandarin able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

\xc2\xb7 Self-motivated, resourceful, mature, and highly initiative to work independently.

Qualification: -

\xc2\xb7 Degree in Civil Engineering or higher.

\xc2\xb7 At least 10 years working experience in similar capacity.
