Job Description


The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for growing the product range across South East Asia, and will be measured against agreed business objectives including, sales targets, identification of new business opportunities, new product launches, distributor\'s sales team knowledge and key relationship

  • Responsible for profitably growing Food Service business in South East Asia: Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Cambodia and Brunei.
  • Update and maintain Business Plans for core countries with clear strategies for growth and development of product lines and channels.
  • To work with, motivate and train our established distributors and their sales teams in SEA to generate profitable sales.
  • Communicating key potential accounts to management and drawing up strategies for securing these.
  • Ensuring distributor\'s sales team understand the features and benefits of Food Service products and are able to communicate these effectively to customers.
  • Identifying potential new products to sell into the SEA markets from current portfolio and potential R&D projects.
  • Ensure that distributor\'s stock management is adequate for availability of stock for the end users.
  • Preparation of monthly targets and performance review.
  • In co-ordination with the Head of Asia Pacific preparing the annual sales budget.
  • In co-ordination with the Head of Asia Pacific and Marketing Department, prepare the annual marketing plan and be responsible for its implementation.
  • Take reasonable care for the health and safety of self and others, ensuring compliance with safety regulations in area of responsibility, in line with all relevant Health and Safety legislation.
  • The above list is not exhaustive and the post holder may be required to undertake other duties as may be reasonably expected. All employees are required to be flexible and co-operative to meet business needs.
