About Our Client
Our client is a regional fintech conglomerate in South East Asia, aiming to empower millions of people towards financial independence. They are market leader in some countries in the region, while also starting up in some countries, hence projecting huge growth in the future. Key growth market includes Malaysia, Cambodia and Myanmar.
The Head of Marketing is a key role to drive the company\'s short to long term goals. The key responsibilities include:
Leading and driving strategic marketing direction and propositions in local markets
Working with the local teams to develop strategy for the 360 marketing plan, from brand, content, social, CRM to digital in alignment with the business objectives of the local market
Responsible for marketing budget planning, execution and control
Providing inputs to the strategic programs, championing the needs of the customer journey, from brand awareness, loyalty to conversions in local market and consumers
Overseeing the country marketing operation and driving achievement of business performance metrics
Drive creation and execution of local insights-driven programs; i.e, segment plans, social media management, PR programs
Proactively evaluate and understand market needs - products and services offered, ensuring that the offerings are competitive and ahead of industry requirements, providing amazing service resulting in customer loyalty
Build and drive a team of motivated individuals who are committed towards organisational purpose and goals, infusing in them the values and culture
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate is an experienced marketing leader with proven track record of success in leading businesses to achieve growth in a challenging landscape, adapting to the changes in the market. Other requirements include:
Local marketing experience in Myanmar or Cambodia is a must!
Bachelor\'s degree in any related field. Masters qualification is an added advantage
10 years of experience in a start up, digital or online business with strong business acumen and entrepreneurial mindset
Highly analytical, structured thinker with strong problem-solving skills
Strong sense of ownership and drive
Strong ability to influence key stakeholders from various backgrounds and cultures
Passion for the fintech industry and adaptable to change
Highly motivated and ready to join a fast-paced environment with high expectations
