Job Description
An exciting opportunity for a Regional Legal Counsel role for a leading telecommunications company.
As this role is essential to the organization, it is vital candidate comes with a track record of delivery and proven experience. Among the many responsibilities are listed below:
- Provide legal advisory support to the business and operational functions of the Group.
- Contract review, drafting and negotiation for a variety of commercial and corporate transactions, including contracts and documentation for commercial, telecommunications, technology, media, sales and procurement contracts.
- Work collaboratively with various stakeholders within Group to ensure compliance of internal policies, corporate governance and regulatory requirements.
The ideal Regional Legal Counsel will be confident in leading from the front and be responsible for the growth of the company while possessing the below requirements;
- Qualified lawyer with Legal degree from a reputable university.
- 8 to 10 years of PQE.
- Experience in any or a combination of the following areas of law such as Commercial/ Corporate/ Telecommunications/ Media/ Technology.
- Prior in-house experience in the communications or media industry will be an advantage.
- Strong contract drafting and negotiating skills.
- Analytical, strategic thinker, pragmatic and solution oriented.
- Reliable, self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently.
- Responsive, articulate and with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
