Knowledge & Skills: Position Summary
The Regional Manager is responsible for overseeing, directing, and optimizing all security operations within an assigned region. This role ensures operational excellence, client satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and effective management of all security personnel. The Regional Manager will play a pivotal role in managing multiple sites, guiding Operations Executives and Patrolling Officers, and driving continuous improvement in service quality and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Regional Operational Leadership
Lead, manage, and supervise all security operations within the assigned region.
Oversee daily deployment, manpower planning, and operational efficiency for multiple sites.
Ensure Operations Executives and Patrolling Officers comply with company SOPs, policies, and operational standards.
2. Client Relationship Management
Maintain strong working relationships with all clients in the region.
Conduct regular client meetings to assess service performance, address concerns, and ensure high service satisfaction.
Resolve escalated issues and ensure timely corrective actions.
3. Manpower & Team Management
Supervise, guide, and evaluate Operations Executives, Patrolling Officers, and security guards.
Plan and oversee recruitment and manpower allocation to meet contractual requirements and new business expansions.
Ensure all personnel are professionally trained, disciplined, and perform duties efficiently.
Monitor guards' fitness, licensing, training, and attendance compliance.
4. Security and Incident Management
Oversee incident investigations and ensure timely preparation of accurate incident reports.
Ensure all sites follow proper access control, patrols, CCTV monitoring, loss prevention, and emergency management procedures.
Conduct routine security audits, site inspections, and enforce corrective actions to prevent breaches.
5. Compliance, Audit & Quality Control
Ensure all sites comply with internal policies, client-specific SOPs, and regulatory/security audit requirements.
Perform regional audits to ensure equipment functionality, guard performance, and adherence to safety standards.
Ensure strict no-bribery and integrity compliance across all staff and sites.
6. Training & Performance Development
Organize training programs for guards, and operations staff.
Ensure Nepalese and foreign guards receive necessary briefings, training, permit renewal support, and medical compliance.
Conduct regional roll calls, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions when required.
7. Administrative & Reporting Responsibilities
Review and approve monthly site reports, incident reports, audits, and manpower reports prepared by the operations team.
Prepare consolidated regional reporting for HQ and Operational Manager.
Ensure all necessary documentation such as permits, FOMEMA, medical checkups, and licences are completed accurately and on time.
8. Strategic Planning & Continuous Improvement
Analyze operational performance and recommend improvements in manpower planning, training, and process efficiency.
Support management in business development initiatives, pricing reviews, and client contract renewals.
Lead special or ad-hoc projects assigned by the company.
Qualifications & Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Security Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum
5-7 years of experience
in security operations management, with at least
2 years in a supervisory/regional role
.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple sites and teams under pressure.
Good knowledge of security operations, SOPs, incident management, and statutory requirements.
Willing to travel extensively within the region.
Possession of security licenses (if required by local laws).
