Job Purpose & Scope 1. Job Purpose & Scope The Regional Master Planner isresponsible for leadership to ensure efficient, effective and successfully manage the sales and operational planning forecast analysis and prepare a monthly accurate master production planning in order to maximise the RW-SA plant capacity to meet market demands. He/she shall provide leadership, operation and production/products technical skills in overall Production Planning and working closing with the whole entire Supply Chain Process whilst entails smooth departmental operation. Key Result Areas Define the following;

  • Delivery of company strategy & KPI\xe2\x80\x99s/Performance Management goals for job holder.
  • The position has key responsibilities in ensuring leadership in effective and efficient Production Planning which includes the overview of the Demand and Supply Planning and overview of the RW-SA Capacity Planning.
  • The position will require to study and prepare the overall landed cost model as and when required by the OPCO to ensure we are competitive in moving orders around the OPCO.
  • This position is based in Malaysia including the Production Planning Manager in Malaysia reports to this position and this position will require to review and work closely with the Planners in Rayong and also Dahej.

Key Responsibilities & Job Content Describe the \xe2\x80\x98who & what\xe2\x80\x99 the job holder is responsible for\xe2\x80\xa6\xe2\x80\xa6 Include health & safety 1. Demand Planning & Supply Planning \xe2\x80\x93 Leadership in coordinating and work closely with RW-SA Business Unit Directors in coordinating the key information for planning forecast & stakeholder management. He/She will have to display Leadership in coordinating key information for the weekly forecast accuracy and work closely with Controllers to ensure accurate forecasting is achieved. 2. Capacity Cockpit \xe2\x80\x93 He/She will have to coordinate and compile information on the 6 months overview forecast from the Business Unit Directors to ensure maximise the plants utilization. He/She will provide management report to the Business Unit Directors and Operation team monthly management report on RW-SA Capacity Planning. 3. Planning Model/Campaign \xe2\x80\x93 the personnel is responsible to work closely with the Production Planner on a weekly basis to ensure that all the production planning campaign are achieving the desired outcome based on the benchmark. He/she shall coordinate with Production Planner and Production personnel in organizing, controlling and monitoring the workflow effectively. 4. Group Capacity Call and Intercompany Sales - the personnel is responsible to attend the Group Capacity call with updated inputs for RW-SA on monthly performance KPIs, TYCE numbers, Scheduled Maintenance Plan to ensure dateline is met and aligned with the Group requirements. He/She is also required to coordinate and ensure all intercompany sales is managed efficiently and effectively. 5. Communication \xe2\x80\x93 the position entails him/her to establish effective communication within the department and with other departments. He/she shall provide clear directions to his subordinates and able to give clear information to other departments. 6. Safety & Health \xe2\x80\x93 shall be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean working place at all times. He/she shall plan and organize effective plans to ensure strict enforcement of Safety rules are attained at all times. Others \xe2\x80\x93 He/ she shall have the aptitude for continuous improvement Professional Skills & Personal Competencies Professional Skills - Essential
  • Degree in Business Management coupled with several years\xe2\x80\x99 experience
  • (7-10+ years) in a Supply Chain Management position, especially in warehouse or logistic department in a process oriented manufacturing company.
  • Competent, Corporative and Vocal
