Formerly Apigate, Boost Connect is a global digital monetization and customer growth payment platform ecosystem provider with innovative products and services Boost Indonesia - Formerly Aspirasi Indonesia, is providing micro-financing business and digital merchant business for various sizes of enterprises (formerly Boost Indonesia) in Indonesia Your Role Support Regional Regulatory Head in ensuring optimal regulatory outcomes for Axiata Digital eCode group of companies in relation to digital financial services, through regulatory advice, strategic regulatory planning and effective stakeholder management Act as a resource to the Group regulatory function and business teams on matters relating to regulatory regimes governing financial services Act as the contact point for regulators and external stakeholders relevant to licensing, compliance, and regulatory issues Engage with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with internally established policies and standards relating to business activities governed by regulations, and responsible to prepare awareness content on compliance-related matters Provide operational support conducting and overseeing periodic internal reviews and assurance exercises to ensure that compliance procedures are followed Provide effective updates to senior management on regulatory and AML/CFT matters Regulatory Advise business teams on regulatory parameters applicable when engaging in partnerships and developing products (where appropriate, in collaboration/consultation with our legal team) Advise on partnerships and products to ensure compliance with regulatory or internal policy requirements and review terms and conditions of partnership arrangements Prepare submissions to secure/ renew/ maintain the relevant approvals / licenses and tracking of regulatory approvals and notifications Prepare responses to queries from regulators and other external as well as internal stakeholders Review/revise internal policies and processes to assist the business in identifying, tracking and meeting its regulatory responsibilities and any related obligations, and engage with relevant internal stakeholders to ensure understanding and implementation of relevant compliance responsibilities Support relevant internal stakeholders on implementation of necessary reporting and record-keeping to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements AML/CFT Oversee and monitor the implementation of the internal governance and internal control framework to ensure compliance with AML/CFT requirements Facilitate business-wide AML/CFT risk assessment annually Assess adequacy of the company\'s AML/CTF policies and implement and tract remedial measures where necessary Assess the effectiveness of the AML/CFT Compliance function, by considering the findings on internal and external assurance reviews and/or audits Compliance Assurance Develop, implement, and execute compliance assurance review and testing, continuous assurance, and reporting programs to ensure business activities are in compliance with regulatory expectations and licensing requirements Lead Compliance Review Methodology, Review Program and Templates as and when required Ensure Gap Analysis is performed to determine adequcy of processes and controls in addressing regulatory and licensing requirements, including preparation of mitigation plan to address gaps if any Ensure completion of planned compliance reviews as per approved Annual Compliance Plan Requirements At least 8 years\' working experience in either compliance, internal audit, risk management or legal position in financial service industry preferably within digital financial services segment with good knowledge of applicable financial services regulations and best practices as well as relevant product knowledge experience 5 years of people management skills with various compliance functions within the team Familiarity with financial services, including e-Money and digital financing Ability to apply principles and theory to real situations and offer practical solutions Experienced in compliance, internal controls & regulatory reporting will be an advantage Experienced in planning, executing, and reporting on compliance testing reviews and regulatory issue validation activities Working knowledge of tools, methods, and concepts of quality assurance Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and within stipulated timeframe Demonstrates agility and resourcefulness in undertaking tasks assigned, particularly for new assignments Ability to interpret statutory and regulatory requirements and establish frameworks and solutions for implementation Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to apply sound judgement Good written and communication skills with ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders
