About the Department

SCOPE OF THE ROLE

As a Release Manager for Core Banking, you will be responsible for Core Banking systems Release management comprising of Deposit, Credit, Payment and Wealth application. Familiar with Quarterly release calendars. Work closely with Application lead or SA to provide Estimation mandays and FSD process once Change management team share the list of items prioritized.

Job Responsibilities

Your job responsibilities include:

• Track and work closely with SA and application lead or SA update the e-request promptly till deployment of the Change. Attend weekly Release management updates meeting and updates to the Core Banking Pillars.
• Prepare Executive summary for all Release work related for management updates.
• Facilitate and work with Auditors, SA and application lead for yearly audit.
• Update the team for any Release Management news like prioritized list of CRs per quarter, management updates, environment updates, audit related, etc
• Manage escalation and work closely with application team and Business for any issues relating to Change Request.
• Work with Development Lead to setup Release command center roster for Core Banking.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree/University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Experience in Silverlake Banking system knowledge is an added advantage.
• Have background knowledge Banking Technology (Deposit, Loans, Payment, Wealth) of Core Banking.
• Good analytical skills and agile in handling multiple streams of demands from business.
• Experience in dealing with different teams with diverse background/units.
• Knowledge of waterfall and agile project management model.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
