Job Description
The R&D Assistant supports the development and improvement of food products and processes. This role involves assisting in product formulation, conducting trials, collecting and analyzing data, and ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, and passionate about food innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the formulation and testing of new food products and recipes. Conduct raw & packaging material test, shelf-life studies, sensory evaluations, and product trials. Prepare samples for internal testing, customer presentations, or external analysis. Maintain accurate records of formulations, test results, and observations. Support the scale-up of recipes from lab to production level. Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Production, and Procurement teams. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, GMP, Halal). Source and evaluate new ingredients or packaging materials. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the R&D lab and equipment.

Pay: RM2,400.00 - RM3,000.00 per month

Education:
Diploma/Advanced Diploma (Preferred)
Experience:
food technology and food processing: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
food lab or production environment is an advantage (Preferred)
