To sell rooms by telephone at the maximum possible rate.
To handle all enquiries and reservations in a courteous, efficient manner, and to accept reservations wherever possible.
Process and key into computer all reservations, cancellations, amendments and confirmations.
File accurately all relevant information relating to group, Online Booking and FIT reservations in the appropriate area.
Be aware at all times of future availability and rate restrictions and sell accordingly.
To contribute to company profitability by promoting usage by guests of in-house facilities and services.
Assist in pre-blocking of special types as requested.
Process group rooming lists and assist in the preparation of groups for efficient check-in.
To handle all incoming and outgoing e-mails and facsimile and action accordingly.
To update new contracted rates and credit facilities extended to Travel Agents and Company into the computer.
Ensure all special requests, e.g., baby coat, transportation, extra bed is blocked in the system and follow up.
To process all advance deposit received by crediting them into correct guests' folios.
To liaise with Guest Service Assistant (Reception) or Duty Manager on duty on VIP arrival.
To ensure that the Reservation Equipment such like faxes machines, photostat machine, computer, telephone & etc. are keep clean & tidy from dust free and stain mark.
To maintain the cleanliness of the area.
Participates in any scheduled training and development program that may improve personal or departmental standards.
