We seek suitably qualified Malaysians for the position of :- Reservation Supervisor (Fulltime) Job Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 To ensure and co-ordinate all valid Fit as well as group bookings are loaded into the system, correspondence is accessible and contracts complete and understood. \xc2\xb7 Request group final status within the cut off time as agreed in the contract; amend appropriate blockings to enable accurate occupancy management. \xc2\xb7 Establish a system of control of all incoming and outgoing correspondence and allocate work according to priorities. \xc2\xb7 Update rooming list and relevant reservation information. \xc2\xb7 Prepare Fit and group profiles including special requirements. \xc2\xb7 Maintains a close working relationship with all the other departments with respect to special requirements and request of bookings. \xc2\xb7 Assist the Asst Reservation Manager/ Revenue Manager with the forecasting by providing actual statistics and anticipated figures. \xc2\xb7 Ensures that the Reservations Department works closely with the Sales/ Front Office Department, and a harmonious working relationship exists. \xc2\xb7 Attend training sessions when required. \xc2\xb7 Maintains hotel\xe2\x80\x99s policies and procedures at all times. \xc2\xb7 Prepares the month end Reservations Report \xc2\xb7 Carries out any other duties from time to time as requested by the Management. \xc2\xb7 To assume other duties assigned by the SDOSM from time to time. Job Requirements: \xc2\xb7 Minimum SPM / Diploma holder \xc2\xb7 At least 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in handling reservations with good understanding of hotel operations. \xc2\xb7 Preferably those with some exposure in service industry and some experience in organizing small events \xc2\xb7 Good command in written and spoken English & Bahasa Malaysia \xc2\xb7 Chinese Language skill is an advantage \xc2\xb7 Able to maintain & strengthen the relationship with customers \xc2\xb7 Pleasant personality with good negotiating and presentation skills \xc2\xb7 Good teamwork spirit, pro-active, independent & passionate with his/her job \xc2\xb7 Willing to work long hours when required \xc2\xb7 Computer literate Pay rate: \xc2\xb7 RM2800 + EPF + SOCSO Please contact Ixora Hotel Human Resource on 04-382-8820 or career@ixorahotel.com for details.
