Job Description
We are looking for suitable and qualified candidate for the following position:
RESPIRATORY TECHNICIAN
(LOCUM & PERMANENT) CARDIOTHORACIC & VASCULAR SURGERY DEPARTMENT
Responsibilities
- To assist Pulmonologist to perform various procedure ie: Pulmonary Function Test
Ventilation (NIV).
- Maintaining of respiratory equipment
- To calibrate all the respiratory equipment before the procedure.
- To check all equipment are in good condition and functioning before perform any
- To report any malfunction equipment.
- To provide the report after procedure.
- To assist Pulmonologist to educate respiratory patient.
- Participate in departmental and organizational quality improvement project.
- Bachelor in Nursing/ Science, Diploma in Nursing / Medical Assistant and
- Minimum 3 years working experience in hospital / medical unit
- Basic knowledge in Respiratory System.
- Basic knowledge on Pulmonary Function Test (PFT), Sleep Medicine, Non-
- Able to operate respiratory equipment will be more advantage.
- Good communication in Bahasa Malaysia & English.
