The primary focus of the role is to support the data infrastructure for Retail Analytics unit as well as SBIM in Consumer, Private and Business Banking (CPBB). The individual will be responsible for end-to-end underlying data preparation and transformation, at stipulated timeframe such as Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly. The individual is also expected to support management information (MI) reporting which includes coordinating and collating multiple sources of data to create and maintain user datamarts and produce recurring reports. Business 1. Accountable for end-to-end data readiness for internal consumption within the stipulated timeframe: . Work with respective business stakeholders to capture new data field and source of data in tandem with system changes and enhancement . Rectify any data transformation gaps and highlight the impact to respective stakeholders . Perform gap analysis and propose for solution on underlying data changes 2. Analyse and identify opportunities that will help grow top line and improve bottom line: . Synthesize large quantum of data (sales, credit and risk parameters) and identify opportunities . Co-design new data framework and solutions to support strategic business KPIs 3. Provide support to the CPBB Data & Analytics team on infrastructure and MI related activities: . Collating various data sources from but not limited to external parties (Insurers, Aggregators, Partners), internal data providers (FEDX, Business Users, Host Systems), PDW and any new data streams made available by the organisation . Ensure all required data used for subsequent internal processes are delivered timely . Maintain internal datamarts which includes data quality control and regular housekeeping . Develop accurate and timely consolidated reports for better business management Processes . Continuously improve operational efficiency and process effectiveness . Ensure effective management of operational risks within the function . Comply with applicable internal policies, and external laws and regulations People & Talent . Champion and act as role model of the group\'s values . Drive an environment of collaboration, both within CPBB Banking and across the wider Group, to ensure issues are raised and blockages are resolved in a timely manner Risk Management . Interpret the Group\'s financial information, identify key issues based on this information and put in place appropriate controls and measures. . Ensure data security and data sharing through secured channels e.g. SharePoint in password protected files. Governance . Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Analytics / Banking / Financial Services Industry . In depth business understanding for client, segment, product and channels . Proficiency in Base SAS or SAS Viya. . Knowledge on scripting in Wintel platform and UNIX would be added advantage.
