Retail Expansion Manager

Job Description


Responsible for leading the client\'s efforts to expand their retail footprint across various markets. You will play a crucial role in identifying new opportunities for growth, developing and executing expansion strategies, and ensuring the successful launch of new retail locations. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, market analysis, project management, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Lead the development and execution of retail expansion strategies to drive company growth and achieve targets.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential locations for new retail stores.
  • Establish relationships with landlords, developers, and other stakeholders to secure favorable lease agreements and partnerships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including real estate, construction, operations, and marketing, to ensure seamless execution of expansion plans.
  • Manage the end-to-end process of opening new retail locations, including site selection, negotiations, permitting, build-out, and store launch.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing retail locations, identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform decision-making and strategy development.

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate, or related field.
  • Proven experience in retail expansion or real estate development, preferably in the retail industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret market data and trends.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and meet deadlines.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-driven approach.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed (up to 25%).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with real estate software/tools is a plus.
