Retail Operation Manager (mandarin Speaker)

Job Description

  • A degree in Audiology or a degree in Sales & Marketing / Business Management / equivalent
  • At least 4 years' experience in management of retail business
  • Experience in Hearing Aid / Healthcare related Industry is highly regarded
  • Able to commute / travel from time to time within Malaysia
  • Technical knowledge in IT system and digital marketing is highly preferred
Responsibilities

The Operation Manager is responsible for the development and growth of the retail sales, distributor sales and hospital sales in Malaysia.
  • Being the head of operations in Malaysia and ensuring local alignment and execution with the regional strategies and objectives.
  • Direct responsibility for the management of the Malaysia Government Tender business, Malaysia Direct Retail business, Malaysia Retailer business and day to day ad hoc tasks.
  • Guarantee that all operations are occurring in the correct and most cost-effective manner, ensuring alignment with quality necessities and specifications by any law governs by every Malaysia authority (MOH, MDA, Local Authorities)
  • Direct Line Management responsibility of Marketing & Customer Service (Google Advertisement and Reviews, Website and other Social Media Platform- Facebook, Instagram) and other technical issues (Azure Cloud, RM System, Equipment Calibration, Software update, PC issues)
  • Mentoring, developing and leading the local team to achieve market share growth and achievement of financial objectives.
  • Annual budget forecasts, P&L and long-range planning responsibility for THSC Malaysia business
  • Developing business and talent's KPIs, implementing trainings and personal development programs which support corporate objectives along with local talent management and succession planning.
  • Ensure positive teamwork and fostering communication and interaction across functions to insure consistent best practices are in place in alignment with company values and strategic direction
  • Plan, and execute major marketing events and promotions related to the company (includes the concept of the event, marketing/ training materials & strategy involves)
  • Plan and monitor teams' sales collections (invoices) from time to time to prevent payment outstanding issues.
  • Involves in product selection, changes in products portfolio & general business regulations, monitoring the profit margin from time to time.
  • Visit each THSC outlets and other retailers, government hospitals and other business related key accounts at least once per quarter (to ensuring enough support are given and gain feedback)
  • Assuring that all other reports and inquiries are reported to the HQ on time and in full.
  • Shared responsibility with the Human Resources team in talent acquisition, employees benefits and other HR laws/ regulations required by the Malaysia Government.
  • Shared responsibility with the Supply Chain team in planning and monitoring stocks supplied to the branches are in adequate unit, precise and follow the set quality standard.
