About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented

Retail Operations Executive

to support our

Retail Operations Manager

in the daily running of Floristika's retail and back-end operations. You'll help keep things flowing smoothly -- from managing stock and handling products to ensuring the retail floor always looks its best. Key Responsibilities

Retail & Inventory Operations

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods (fresh flowers, plants, and supplies) for quality and quantity. Perform hydration, trimming, and conditioning of flowers upon arrival. Label and stock items accurately using FIFO (First-In-First-Out) practices. Maintain cleanliness and organization in cold rooms, prep areas, and storage spaces. Set up and restock the retail space with attractive, price-tagged displays. Prepare and pack flowers and foliage for export shipments, ensuring quality and proper documentation. Conduct regular stock counts and assist with inventory reporting. Support walk-in sales fulfilment and ad-hoc packing requests. Coordinate with gardeners, customer service, and purchasing on plant rental maintenance and availability. Assist with ad-hoc operational tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field. At least 2-3 years of experience in operations, logistics, or retail. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and work under pressure. Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Computer literate and comfortable using retail systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms is an added advantage. Good command of English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin (spoken and written). We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients. Willing to work on rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Passionate about flowers, plants, and delivering a great customer experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
