The Retail Store Manager is responsible for leading the daily operations of the store to achieve sales targets, deliver excellent customer service, and maintain high operational standards. This role involves managing a team of sales associates, overseeing merchandising and inventory control, and ensuring compliance with company policies and brand standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Performance
Drive sales to achieve monthly and annual targets.
Monitor daily store performance and implement action plans to improve sales results.
Analyze sales reports, identify trends, and suggest initiatives to increase productivity.
Customer Experience
Ensure every customer receives excellent service aligned with retail standards.
Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
Promote a customer-first culture within the team.
Store Operations
Oversee day-to-day store activities including opening, closing, and cash handling.
Maintain store cleanliness, visual merchandising, and product displays.
Manage inventory accuracy through proper stock receiving, replenishment, and stocktake processes.
People Management
Recruit, train, and motivate retail associates to perform effectively.
Conduct regular coaching and performance reviews.
Build a positive team culture and maintain high morale.
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs, and retail conduct standards.
Prepare and submit required operational and sales reports promptly.
Safeguard company assets and minimize losses through effective control measures.
Requirements:
Minimum
Diploma
in Business, Retail Management, or related field.
At least
3 years of retail management experience
, preferably in fashion, footwear, or sportswear.
Proven ability to lead a sales team and deliver strong results.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Willing to work on weekends, public holidays, and retail hours.
