Job Summary

Effective technical support of Engineering or Risk Engineering business applications providing a proactive and responsive service for customers and field staff.

Job Accountabilities - Key Accountabilities

• Carries out specific tasks in support of the development of technology based initiatives and provides service to customers.
• Resolves queries and ensures technological problems are resolved quickly and efficiently, ensuring customer needs are met.
• Assists in the administration of technology based communication systems/facilities.
• Provides technical support to specific technology initiatives and customer systems.
• Reviews existing processes and trends making recommendations for improvement.
• Provides management information to inform detailed analyses of industry practice or internal system performance.
• Design and delivery of training for internal systems.
• Monitors and reports on project progress abd supports delivery of specific workstream outputs.
• Provides support to customers through a helpdesk facility.

• Monitor and take responsibility for resources using defined procedures.
• Review and analyse project performance using standard reporting tools in order to highlight discrepancies against plan.
• Collect data from sources and prepare reports with commentary to facilitate engineering decision making.
• Monitor risk engineering processes in own area of work in order to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support technology initiatives as part of a team and assist in specific workstreams of engineering projects to ensure completion.
• Collaborate with staff in engineering or risk engineering to provide a high quality service to customers.
