Job Details:
Position : Network Engineer-Lead
Working Hours/Shift : Mon-Fri; 9am-6pm
Working Location : 165 Jalan Ampang, 50450 Kuala Lumpur
Working Duration: 12 months contract with PERSOLKELLY
Remuneration : Basic up to RM9,000 with statutory contribution + leave entitlement + insurance & medical benefits

Job Purpose:
Network Engineer and single point of contact for all voice and network activities - COB related activities project production support and change management activities with regional and Global Network/Voice SMEs

Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
A B2B, Network, Voice, Firewall
A CompTIA Network +, Voice certification
A Able managing Enterprise Core Infrastructure Services on Network and Voice

Overall Responsibility:
A Provide assistance and training to Tier1 general field staff on LAN/Voice/Video systems.
A Design, manage, operate and maintain LAN/Voice/Video services for the Command.
A Deploy, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot telecommunications equipment and network
A Must be familiar with Cisco networking protocols and voice infrastructures.
A Provide senior level planning, scheduling, testing, and coordination for installation of upgrades.
A Track service dependencies.
A Manage and drive remediation efforts related to information security, remediation may be from incidents, penetration tests, vulnerability scans, internal/external audits and other assessments
A Perform, manage & coordinate system and application patching and hardening in accordance with established standards and procedures
A Troubleshooting of Cisco and wireless technology, network routing and switching
A Apply advanced understanding of WAN/LAN internet - working design elements including cost versus performance tradeoffs, protocol interoperability, network architecture development and requirements for testing/proof of concept
A Mentor and instruct junior level engineers on technical expertise needed in collecting and assembling data, preparing reports, monitoring progress and analyzing data
A Provide network technical support for complex network related incidents, changes and projects
A Gather requirements, analyze technical networking issues and the develop options and recommendations
A Knowledge of network performance, network administration and troubleshooting techniques
A Knowledge of network related hardware and software (including routers, switches, TCP/IP, Ethernet, VPNs, Firewalls, etc.)
