JOB REQUIREMENT

• Possess minimum Diploma/Bachelor in Environmental, Safety and Health or equivalent
• At least 2 \xe2\x80\x93 3 years working experience in related field
• Possess certifications as DOSH Registered Safety Officer and green book holder registration with DOSH
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Highly proficient in spoken and written in English and Malay
• Detail-oriented, analytical and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines

JOB DESCRIPTION

• To inspect or evaluate workplace environments, equipments or practices to ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations.
• To responsible for the monitoring and controlling of health and safety compliance and related rules and regulations in the organization
• To promotes safety awareness among employees in a work place
• To advise the management on associated laws and regulations
• To prepare safety policies and trains the employees on safety and health related issues
• To maintain the health and safety records of the organization and analyse data for decision making process by the management
• To lead safety and health committee on the work place inspection
• To conduct safety and health training to employees and provide guidelines to the workers on safety related matters
• To carry out Safety Inspection and Safety Audit in accordance to schedule and monitor the corrective and preventive action taken and its effectiveness.
• To investigate any accident, near miss accident, and dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning, occupational disease which has happened in the place of work?
• To ensure the plant is complying with the fire protection and environmental regulations.
• To enforce the use of personal protection equipment and improve existing method of working
• Any other ad-hoc tasks required by superior
