Job description:

• To plan and develop for the implementation and administration of safety and health policies and practices to meet legal requirements.
• To liaise with external government officers and authorities in related to SHE matters and to ensure policies and regulation are meet their requirement.
• Observe work in progress and assure safety equipment is worn and procedures followed.
• To form a safety & health committee and Emergency Response Team (ERT).
• To coordinate and conduct where applicable, yearly fire drill, first aid drills.
• To maintain the documentation for DOE and DOSH.
• To investigate, analyse, make recommendation, and maintain reports of industrial incidents / accidents or work hazards to determine causes and propose for preventive measures.
• To perform factory inspection and co-ordinate to ensure update of all DOSH machineries inspection schedule.
• To conduct induction safety training for new staff.
• To design and conduct training for workers, contractors and visitors on workplace safety and awareness.
• To participate in Audit compliance matters.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least 2-3 years in Diploma in Safety & Health.
• Having Green Book is advantages.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Potentially hazardous or practices.
• Legislation such as OSHA and procedures.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
• Able to communicate, read and write in English and Bahasa Melayu.
• Good in MS Excel and Word.

Job Type: Full-time Salary: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:

• Teluk Panglima Garang: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
