Build, maintain, and expand strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential clients.
Serve as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, providing timely support and follow-ups.
Understand client needs, business goals, and challenges to propose appropriate IT solutions.
Sales & Business Development
Identify new business opportunities, potential customers, and emerging market trends.
Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve or exceed individual and team sales targets.
Present, promote, and sell IT solutions including hardware, software, cloud, networking, and security products.
Prepare proposals, quotations, and tenders, and conduct product demonstrations or presentations.
Account & Pipeline Management
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting, qualification, proposal, negotiation, to closing.
Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and opportunities in CRM systems.
Forecast and report sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue projections to management.
Collaboration & Coordination
Work closely with pre-sales engineers, technical teams, and project managers to ensure client satisfaction and project success.
Liaise with marketing and product teams to align customer needs with company offerings.
Ensure proper handover of closed projects to the delivery and support teams.
Customer Satisfaction & Retention
Monitor client satisfaction levels and manage renewals, upgrades, and cross-sell/upsell opportunities.
Handle and resolve customer issues professionally and efficiently to maintain long-term partnerships.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum
2-5 years
of experience in
IT sales, account management, or business development
, preferably with exposure to:
IT infrastructure solutions (servers, storage, networking, security)
Cloud computing, software licensing, or managed services
System integration or IT consulting projects
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong understanding of IT products, services, and solutions (Microsoft, Cisco, Dell, HP, VMware, etc.).
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Self-motivated, result-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with clients and internal stakeholders.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.).
Possess own transport and willing to travel to meet clients when required.
