Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development

Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities to achieve sales targets. Manage and expand relationships with existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and quotations tailored to client needs. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms in line with company policies.

Technical Consultation & Support

Provide technical advice and product recommendations to customers regarding lapping, polishing, and surface finishing solutions. Collaborate with technical support and engineering teams to ensure solutions meet customer requirements. Conduct product demonstrations, trials, and training for clients.

Market & Account Management

Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify industry trends and opportunities. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline updates, and customer interactions in CRM tools. Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and business reviews for management.

Collaboration & Project Support

Work closely with internal teams (engineering, service, logistics) to ensure timely delivery and customer support. Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote Kemet's solutions. Support after-sales service by liaising with customers to resolve issues and ensure long-term satisfaction.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in

Mechanical/Mechatronics/Manufacturing Engineering

or related field. 2-4 years of experience in

technical sales, sales engineering, or precision engineering solutions

(fresh graduates with strong technical background may be considered). Strong technical understanding of

precision finishing, machining processes, or industrial equipment

. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proactive, self-motivated, and target-driven with a strong customer service orientation. Willing to travel within Malaysia and occasionally overseas for customer visits or training. Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an added advantage).

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
