Responsibilities
  • Identify opportunities, and produce leads for the Account Managers with an emphasis on high quality leads (i.e. Solutions)
  • Proactively follow up on leads generated from canvassing by the Account Managers
  • Managing a set of Indirect sales (Reseller) account list.
  • Handling sales lead for indirect sales (Reseller) for existing and new SME Sector.
  • Use of initiative to identify and follow up opportunities with companies who are not already on the database.
  • Manage the database to a high degree of accuracy to ensure targeted marketing activity can take place to generate new business.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Team to achieve sales objectives. (i.e. Campaigns)
  • Attend weekly meetings with the Account Managers to update information and discuss any issues.
  • Liaise effectively with all departments (products, services, finance/credit) to ensure met customer requirements.
  • Influences customers to buy or retain product or service by following a prepared script to give product / services reference information.
  • Constantly seek out new revenue generating opportunities to ensure that targets are met.
  • Achieve levels of effective cold calling activity through using a persuasive, Influence communications style to increase & maintain sales revenue.
  • Closing sales and meeting monthly sales quota and goals following the development plan
  • Updating activity reports daily.
  • Maintaining and updating the customer database.
  • Actively manage the customer database to ensure information is accurate and kept up to date for direct mailing activities.
  • Identify past prospects due for follow up calls.
  • Maintain existing customer relationships, in particular, those which are not actively visited by Account Managers and Indirect Sales Accounts.
