Sales Manager - Electronic Components Distribution
Location : China or Penang (MY)
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive growth in our power electronic
components distribution business, with primary focus on EMS and OEM customers. This role
carries full accountability for revenue performance, pipeline creation and management, and
commercial execution.
The successful candidate will own and grow key EMS and OEM accounts, lead design-in and NPI
activities, and manage pricing, forecasting with customers and principals, and commercial
negotiations. Acting as a business owner, you will leverage existing customer relationships,
expand and scale line card portfolio, and work closely with principals and internal stakeholders
to ensure competitive positioning, execution excellence, and reliable delivery.
This role requires a hands-on, P&L driven with strong networks in EMS and OEM accounts and
the ability delivery both short-term revenue wins and sustainable long-term growth across Asia
including China.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive revenue growth across the electronic components' portfolios, with full
accountability for EMS and OEM sales performance.
- Leverage existing customer relationships to generate short-term revenue wins and build
sustainable long-term revenue growth.
- Drive design-in activities, manage NPI pipelines, and lead project conversion from
development stage to mass production.
- Lead pricing strategy and commercial negotiations, balancing margin protection with
volume expansion.
- Own forecasting, pipeline accuracy, and revenue commitments, delivering predictable and
repeatable results.
- Create new revenue opportunities through direct customer engagement, market
intelligence, and technical discussions.

- Command cross-functional execution, aligning principals, customers, and internal
stakeholders to win business, ensure competitiveness and delivery reliability.
- Acquire, expand, and scale line cards, including principal onboarding, portfolio
development, and revenue scaling.
Core Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in electronic components distribution, with solid
understanding of power-related electronic components, preferably in Sales Manager or
senior Business Development roles.
- Ability to operate autonomously with a P&L-owner mindset.
- Proven track record of owning revenue targets and delivering sustained growth across EMS
and OEM customers.
- Strong hands-on experience driving design-in, NPI engagement, and project conversion into
mass production.
- Demonstrated capability in pricing strategy, commercial negotiations, margin control, and
forecasting accuracy.
- Willingness to travel across Southeast Asia and China as required.
Preferred Profile
- Active line card(s) on hand with immediate or near-term revenue potential.
- Established, working-level relationships with Celestica and Venture, including experience
engaging engineering, sourcing, and/or program teams.
- Strong existing network within EMS and Tier-1 OEM customers.
- Proven experience introducing, expanding, and scaling line cards into meaningful revenue.
- Demonstrated ability to open doors, close business, and scale accounts independently.
- Experience navigating multi-site customer organizations, and regional account structure
