The primary purpose of the Retails Sales Manager \xe2\x80\x93 responsible for maximizing sales team potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those to plans to the upper management by developing the team through motivation, counselling, skills development and product knowledge development.
Retails Sales Manager
To meet customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping Company competitive and innovative and to identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
Duties & Responsibilities
Achieve company sales target by outlet, sales staff, brand and product through weekly monitoring.
Implement company policy to all branches and enforce all company policies are carried out at all branches.
Monitor and ensure stock aging and stock turnover day meets target set by company.
Formulate accurate yearly target plan & mid-term (3 months) road map by analyzing last year performance, supplier direction, market situation and competitor information to forecast future road map.
Plan and create sales activities with Marcom Department to increase sales, market share and customer loyalty.
Responds to customer complaints and comments.
Attend company road show events during setup and throughout the event.
Deal with staffing issues such as interviewing potential staff, conducting appraisals and performance reviews, as well as providing or organizing training and development.
Regularly check with employees on their progress on goals; offer coaching or assistance, or revise goals as necessary by conduct short, regular meetings to discuss and record milestones, accomplishments, successes and challenges.
To carry out ad-hoc duties assigned by the Management/Superior from time to time.
Requirements:
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in business or related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience working in retail industry is compulsory.
Strong analytical skills to identify trends and sales patterns.
Experience managing a team and working cross-functionally with marketing, product, and external partners.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Problem solving skills and handle any unforeseen circumstances.
Possess own transport and willing to travel within Klang Valley Area.
Able to work from Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m and Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
