Description

The Sales Manager is in charge of the Monster / Predator Business in Malaysia, and reports directly to the Region Manager of Singapore & Malaysia. This person manages all aspects of business including logistics and P&L, but main focus is in sales generating activities and relationships with Coca-Cola team in order to develop retailers and wholesalers in Malaysia. The main role is to increase top line sales revenue while following strict brand guidelines in terms of profitability (promotional rebates) and brand visibility (approved artworks and merchandise items). He / she will focus on delivering superior execution in Modern Trade (CVS, Super) and General Trade channel. Prior experience in beverage (CSD, non-alcoholic, retail rather than on-trade) is a big plus. He will be a leader who can train, lead by example and motivate the Coca-Cola team to execute the planned activities and deliver the expected results.
Essential Job Functions:

  • Meet and exceed volume target set in the business plan.
  • Execute partnerships with Coca-Cola team, wholesalers, retailers in order to grow the portfolio of Monster Energy / Predator products in Malaysia.
  • Apply a sales strategy to target key markets and establish a dominant presence in Malaysia; execute promotional programs and activities with key partners.
  • Manage sales forecasts and budgets to achieve established goals to deliver profitable growth for Malaysia market.
  • Set and align key trade KPIs with the distributor and track results on time and in full.
  • Develop trade marketing plan and posm display to enhance brand visibility, and manage the Monster Point of Sales inventory usage.
  • Manage sales reporting obligations in a timely manner to include frequent sales updates, pricing surveys, etc.
  • Keep abreast and report on products, category, innovation, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:
  • 1-5 years of sales experience in a retail, wholesaler or distributor sales environment.
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Business, Marketing or Finance.
  • Demonstrated track record of sales achievement in a hand-on sales environment.
  • Proven knowledge of Wholesalers, distributor and retail customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to establish good relationships and credibility with customers and wholesalers; ability to collaborate at all levels.
  • Excellent at managing time, priorities and expenses.
  • Able to work independently while being a team player.
  • Proficiency using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent English in both written and spoken language.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed locally.

Bachelors or better in Business Administration or related field.
