An exciting Sales Manager (Kuching) job has become available at a global integrated industrial gas firm.

About the Sales Manager (Kuching) Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing the industrial gas sales team to ensure that all activities and plans are executed and implemented. You will also ensure that all sales targets are being achieved in the assigned sales territory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage customer\'s expectation and develop new businesses to maximise profits
• Enforce existing supply agreements at all customers in the region covering supply of gases by bulk, pipeline and by onsite plants in all segments (chemicals, metals, electronics, etc.)
• Ensure such agreements are strictly enforced including accurate regular invoicing
• Sustain and improve profitability of the accounts and the supply agreements
• Actively develop and maintain customer relations
• Undertake any amendments if required or extension/renewal to existing supply agreements after due consultation with key stakeholders
• Monitor developments of competitors and customers at the site/area and evaluate its implications for the company and initiate actions together with the Opportunity and Project Development (OPD) team to defend/improve company\'s position at the site/area
• Assess current and future gases demand of customers and prospective users of gases over the short (monthly, weekly) and mid-term (Three to five-year horizon)
• Work closely with area and regional operations and merchant business team to develop profit improvement initiatives and drive their subsequent realisation
• Facilitate one-off sales of merchant products primarily for the purging opportunity for the oil and gas segment
• Manage the \'Production vs Demand\' situation for East Malaysia

The successful Sales Manager (Kuching) has key experience within the industrial segment and people management experience as well as connections with the relevant segments.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Business/Engineering/Finance
• Experience working in a related industries and corporate environment
• At least five years\' sales experience
• Highly-motivated, autonomous, excellent team player and innovative
• Hands-on, detail/results-oriented, excellent problem solving and good organisational/planning skills with experience in handling an industrial business
• Ability to work with employees at all levels
