An exciting Sales Manager (Lubricants) job has become available in a one of the multinational manufacturer and distributor of automotive oil, additives and lubricants. About the Sales Manager (Lubricants) Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for managing distributors, acquiring and identifying new business opportunities while managing as well as to contribute to overall unit performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Agree, monitor and achieve sales targets for both new and existing customers and distributors
  • Be accountable for the company\xe2\x80\x99s overall performance and overview of the financial performance indicators
  • Develop new channel activities with distributors; understand the activity, business and needs of distributors, provide information and advice on products and services, and to sell and negotiate win-win solutions with distributors and trade outlets
  • Plan calls and visits to provide the appropriate level of service to existing and new customers to retain/expand existing business relationships
  • Review and plan distributors business, products, service packages, contracts, prices, credit terms, credit limits and debt
  • Plan, implement and execute innovative marketing promotions in conjunction with Regional Marketing Manager; and provide guidance in marketing initiatives to customer sales officers
  • Understand/have knowledge of basic scientific and technical products in advising and communicating to customers on upgrades for related products
To succeed in this Sales Manager (Lubricants) role, you must have distributor development skills and capable to drive marketing initiative. Key Requirements:
  • Six to seven years of prior experience in a relevant field
  • Strong communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Professional and friendly demeanour
  • Analytical interpretation and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Access, and other MS Office applications
  • Ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels of the organisation and external contacts
