Join us as Sales Manager \xe2\x80\x93 Solution & Segment for the Electrification Business Area where you will be defining and implementing promotional activities, sales, and marketing strategies for the assigned segments to achieve ABB market penetration and growth aspirations. Ensuring that promotional activities take place at the right time and with appropriate technical content. Proactively lead, develop, and coach the Segment & Technical Promotion department & ensure high level of technical knowhow. Reporting to Local Sales and Marketing Manager and this position will be Subang Jaya, Malaysia.
Your responsibilities
Defining and implementing the segment sales strategy and budget and ensures regular follow-up with oversight country. Driving the growth of early-stage pipeline & the top line in each target segment
Assessing market trends, customers, competitors, industries, applications, and country analyses to identify and realize opportunities with existing and potential new customers within the target segment
Giving feedback to the Division on market trends, competitive landscape, market-pricing expectations, channel strategy and local conditions to win
Building and maintaining strong relationships at senior levels with the key stakeholders and other decision makers. Ensuring effective communications, in particular ABB\xe2\x80\x99s value proposition
Ensuring that the promotions team has the capability to establish and maintain effective long-term relationships
Defining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and establishes regular reports and statistics for promotional & segment sales activities
Ensuring (with HRBP support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed
Your background
Electrical or Mechanical Engineer (BSc, MSc), with 8+ years of experience within a dynamic industry
8-10+ years of experience within segment sales, end-user sales or solutions sales for several segments
Intensive network within the Data center segment
Proven track record in leading and growing a business within a country
Demonstrated experience in development and implementation of marketing and sales strategy
Strong ability to drive and lead teams internally as well as externally
